Firstly, thank you for visiting the website for the Alliance guild; Illuminate.

Illuminate is a new casual semi-late-night raiding guild on the US-oceanic Barthilas server. We are starting a regular Karazahn soon and are hoping to go into Zul’Aman and are looking for reliable, sensible and mature members to share our raiding experiences with.

Our raid times as of the moment are: 9:30pm sever time when daylight savings (here-after referred to as DLST) is on and 8:30pm Server time (non-DLST) on days that are yet to be determined. As a member, you will have a say in determining what days the raids are scheduled and for how long they go for.

We do not discriminate against females, males, young or old or anyone for that matter. Anyone who fits the following criterion has the right to apply to Illuminate and get equal consideration with their application.

Before applying, can you please note that there are several basic requirements that each applicant will be required to meet. If you do not think that you fulfil these requirements, do not apply.

• You must be sensible, mature and reliable – these are some of the most important traits of any member
• You must be able to show up to raids on time – this means, being fully repaired, have the applicable consumables, have money for extra repairs (up to a 100% durability repair if necessary) and be ready to go by the starting time
• You must be an active member and player who is not just online for raids – you should (if the need arises) be online to farm yourself gold, do 5-mans and heroics to help yourself, the guild as a whole or even other members
• You must remain positive and be willing to keep pushing on even if there are many wipes
• Be willing to put the time, effort and gold into improving your gear with the best enchants and gems available to you. “It is blue and I will replace it with an epic soon” is not a valid excuse and this attitude will NOT get you into raids.
• Always place the guild ahead of loot – it will drop again!
• And above all, you must have a sense of humour

All applicants will be judged on this criterion in an equal and fair manner.

Where it is possible, trial runs of a Heroic or even Karazahn will be used to determine if are suited to the guild.

The best way to check if you have been accepted or not is by the title of your application. If one of the officers has replied to your application with a yes or a no, they will also edit the title of the application to reflect the outcome.

There are four possible outcomes for your application, they are:

• Accepted – you have been accepted into the guild and need to whisper an officer for an invite
• Declined – you have been declined from the guild for the reason cited in the officer’s comment
• Pending/on hold – you have been accepted, however for whatever reason, the officers have convened and decided to delay your invite
• Accepted but needs gear – reserved for the absolute best of the best players who need gear. This kind of acceptance is rarely, if ever used.
